Kraken Futures Challenge Offers Up to 5 Million USDG, Depending on Community Volume
Kraken's futures competition ranks weighted volume, requires registration and verification, and excludes several major regions.
Kraken announced its futures challenge on October 12, 2026. It runs from October 12 at 00:00 UTC to December 10 at 23:59:59 UTC.
Ranking and rewards
Register before trading. Gold volume counts 3x, eligible real-world assets 2x and crypto futures 1x. At least $50,000 weighted volume is required. Rankings measure volume, not profit.
The pool rises with community volume; $18.5 billion weighted volume unlocks the 5 million USDG maximum. That amount is not guaranteed.
Eligibility and risk
Participants need an account in good standing and Intermediate verification before the challenge ends. They must be at least 18, or the local age of majority if higher. The US, UK, EEA, Switzerland, Canada and Australia are excluded; other restrictions apply.
Market makers, liquidity providers and managed accounts are ineligible. Leveraged losses can exceed the initial deposit. Kraken advises participants not to trade more than they otherwise would to take part.
