OKX Money Launches in Select Markets With Digital Dollar Balances and Cards

Published ·2 min read·OKX

OKX Money combines digital dollar balances, transfers and spending cards in select markets. Advertised yield and cashback rates depend on eligibility.

OKX announced OKX Money on October 6, 2026, as a standalone app for saving, sending and spending digital dollars. The launch is limited to participating markets, not a worldwide rollout.

Funding, balances and spending

The app supports funding in more than 50 currencies, which are converted into dollar-backed stablecoins. Supported balances include USDG, USDC and USDT. OKX says conversions between supported stablecoins carry no conversion fees.

Virtual and physical cards connect those balances to spending. The launch article advertises no foreign-exchange fees or conversion markup on foreign-currency purchases. Other card or funding fees may still apply under the account terms.

Eligibility matters for the advertised rates

OKX advertises up to 10% APY on eligible USDG balances without staking or a lockup, and up to 10% cashback on eligible purchases through its loyalty program. Both are maximum advertised rates, not promises that every user or balance receives 10%.

Availability, features and rates depend on region and eligibility. The launch page does not provide a complete country list, a universal KYC checklist or a single end date for these product benefits. Confirm the live app's terms and verification requirements before relying on a quoted rate. The page's disclosure also says the service may not be available in Singapore.

Digital dollar balances introduce stablecoin and platform risks. The launch disclosure states that digital assets are not insured and may fluctuate in value.
