OKX announced KAT Flash Earn Lite on October 14, 2026. Rewards accrue October 19 to 24, starting and ending at 15:00 Hong Kong time.
Pools and entry
The BTC pool offers 27 million KAT and requires at least 0.001 BTC. The KAT pool offers 3 million KAT and requires at least 1,700 KAT. Subscription caps depend on user tier.
Presubscriptions opened October 14 at 15:00. Subscribed assets earn Simple Earn interest during presubscription, but KAT rewards do not accrue before the reward period. Identity verification is required; subaccounts and institutions cannot enter. OKX's risk disclosure lists restricted jurisdictions, including Hong Kong, Canada and Japan; check account eligibility.
Redemption
Rewards use complete hourly periods. Redemption forfeits that hour's rewards. At the end, KAT principal automatically returns within four hours; other assets remain in Simple Earn unless redeemed. KAT's price, and so the value of rewards, can fall.
