Coinbase Adds RLUSD on Prime, Exchange and the Coinbase App
Coinbase adds RLUSD trading and transfers in supported regions, with XRP Ledger, Base and Ethereum support. Global Exchange collateral access will follow.
Coinbase announced Ripple USD (RLUSD) availability on October 28, 2026. Customers in supported regions can trade and manage the asset through Coinbase Prime, Coinbase Exchange and the Coinbase app.
Deposits and withdrawals support XRP Ledger, Base and Ethereum. Coinbase also converts US dollars and supported dollar stablecoins to RLUSD at 1:1. Global Exchange access, including collateral use, is not live yet, and Coinbase has not given a date. Check the supported network and your region before making a transfer.
About RLUSD
Ripple USD (RLUSD) is a dollar-backed stablecoin issued through a New York trust supervised by NYDFS. Ripple describes its reserves as cash, US Treasuries and government money market funds backing tokens one for one.
Ripple publishes monthly independent reserve attestations. Ripple positions RLUSD for payments, treasury and settlement use; access and redemption remain subject to applicable terms and jurisdiction.
