HTX said spot trading would open once enough deposits had arrived to support a market, and that it would announce the exact time beforehand. For newly listed tokens, HTX cancels new market orders automatically when there are no resting orders between 90% and 110% of the last price, to limit slippage.

About USDe

USDe is a dollar-pegged token issued by Ethena Labs. It is not backed by bank deposits like USDC. Instead, Ethena holds crypto assets such as ETH and BTC, along with stablecoins, and opens matching short perpetual futures positions so that price moves in the collateral cancel out. This is called a delta-neutral strategy.

Users can stake USDe to receive sUSDe, which earns yield mainly from funding rates on those short positions and from staking rewards. That yield can fall, or turn negative, when funding rates drop, which is one of the main risks of holding sUSDe.
