Binance announced on January 12, 2026 that it would list the United Stables stablecoin (U). Trading opened at 08:00 UTC on January 13 with two pairs, U/USDT and U/USDC.

Listing details

Deposits opened as soon as the notice was published. Withdrawals were expected from 08:00 UTC on January 14. Binance charged no listing fee.

Zero-fee promotion

From the moment trading opened, Binance waived maker and taker fees on U/USDT and U/USDC for spot and margin trading. The promotion runs until Binance announces an end date.

The usual exceptions apply. Volume on these pairs does not count toward VIP tiers or Liquidity Provider programs, and BNB discounts and referral rebates do not apply to it. Binance can disqualify wash trading, self-dealing and bulk-registered accounts.

Users in the United States, Canada, Japan, the Netherlands and several other regions cannot trade the pairs.

About United Stables (U)

U is a US dollar stablecoin issued by United Stables and launched natively on BNB Chain, with a version on Ethereum. The issuer says U is backed one to one by cash and by other dollar stablecoins such as USDC, USDT and USD1, held in segregated accounts.

Binance's notice adds that U was among the first BNB Chain stablecoins to support EIP-3009, a standard that lets users authorize transfers without paying gas themselves. Shortly after this listing, Binance began using U as a quote and lock asset in other products, including Launchpool pools.
