About Re (RE)

Re is a protocol that brings reinsurance onto the blockchain. Users deposit stablecoins, and the protocol uses part of that money as collateral for real reinsurance contracts written through licensed reinsurers. Depositors receive yield-bearing tokens such as reUSD, whose returns come from insurance premiums. Binance's notice describes Re as a capital layer connecting on-chain money to the reinsurance market.

RE is the protocol's governance token. Binance listed the Ethereum version, contract 0x526526528f35ac738177003b8773b402b8df8143.
