Binance Lists Aster (ASTER) for Spot Trading With the Seed Tag
Binance opened ASTER/USDT, ASTER/USDC and ASTER/TRY spot trading on October 6, 2025 at 12:00 UTC and applied the Seed Tag to the token.
Binance listed Aster (ASTER) on its spot market and opened trading at 12:00 UTC on October 6, 2025. The announcement went out the same day.
Pairs and schedule
Three spot pairs went live: ASTER/USDT, ASTER/USDC and ASTER/TRY. Deposits opened at 09:00 UTC, three hours before trading, and withdrawals were scheduled for October 7 at 12:00 UTC. Binance charged no listing fee.
Spot Algo Orders were turned on for the new pairs at 04:30 UTC. Trading Bots and Spot Copy Trading support followed within 24 hours of the spot listing.
Moving from Binance Alpha
ASTER was already tradable on Binance Alpha. Once spot trading opened, Binance removed the token from Alpha and stopped counting its volume toward Alpha Points. Users could still sell through Alpha, and Binance said it would move ASTER from Alpha Accounts to Spot Accounts within 24 hours.
Seed Tag and eligibility
ASTER carries the Seed Tag, which Binance uses for newer projects that may be more volatile than other listed tokens. To trade it, users must pass a risk quiz every 90 days and accept the Terms of Use. Residents of the United States, Canada, the Netherlands and several other regions cannot trade the pairs, and account verification is required.
About Aster (ASTER)
Aster is a decentralized exchange focused on perpetual futures. Binance's listing notice calls it a decentralized perpetual exchange "built for everyone." The token Binance listed is the BNB Smart Chain version, contract 0x000Ae314E2A2172a039B26378814C252734f556A.
ASTER is the project's native token. Binance flagged it as a relatively new asset that may see sharp price moves, which is why the Seed Tag and its quiz requirement apply.
