Kraken launched a Mastercard debit card in July 2026 for eligible UK and EEA customers that spends from 600+ crypto and cash balances and pays up to 2% cashback.
Kraken launched the Kraken Card on July 13, 2026. It is a debit card that lets customers spend their Kraken crypto and cash balances anywhere Mastercard is accepted. At launch it is available to eligible customers in the UK and the European Economic Area.
Main features
- Cashback of up to 2% on purchases, paid weekly in bitcoin, euros or pounds
- Spending from more than 600 supported crypto and cash balances, converted close to real time at the moment of purchase
- One payment can draw from several balances, and users choose which balances fund their purchases
- No transaction fees or ATM fees from Kraken
- Physical cards in several designs, plus a virtual card for immediate use
- Accepted in more than 200 countries and territories on the Mastercard network
How to get it
Customers order the card in the Kraken app. Card management, including transaction history, cashback settings and physical card orders, happens in Krak, Kraken's money app, which uses the same login.
Things to check
Spending crypto through the card means selling it at the moment of purchase, which can be a taxable event in many countries. Kraken does not charge card fees, but conversion rates and any fees from ATM operators or merchants still apply. A separate Krak Card launched in the US in August 2026.
