Published ·4 min read·OKX

OKX has released a major upgrade to its Web3 Wallet, expanding native support to over 100 blockchains including all major EVM chains, Solana, Bitcoin (via Ordinals), and Cosmos-based networks.

OKX Web3 Wallet: Major Multi-Chain Upgrade

OKX has pushed a significant upgrade to its non-custodial OKX Web3 Wallet, which now supports over 100 blockchains natively within a single unified interface. The update is live on iOS, Android, and the browser extension.

What's New

Multi-Chain Support Expansion

  • All major EVM-compatible chains (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, zkSync, etc.)
  • Solana and SPL tokens
  • Bitcoin (including BRC-20 tokens and Ordinals inscriptions)
  • Cosmos ecosystem (Osmosis, Celestia, Injective)
  • Aptos and Sui (Move-based chains)
  • Smart Portfolio View

A new aggregated portfolio dashboard shows your total balance across all chains in a single screen, with real-time price data and a breakdown by network.

    Improved DeFi Integration

The wallet's built-in DeFi aggregator now routes through 300+ protocols to find the best swap rates. Gas estimation has also been improved for accuracy on congested networks.

    MPC Security Model

OKX Web3 Wallet uses a Multi-Party Computation (MPC) architecture — there's no seed phrase required. Instead, private key shares are split between your device and OKX's cloud backup, with recovery via your OKX account credentials.

    How to Update

The upgrade is distributed automatically via the App Store and Google Play. Browser extension users should check for updates in their browser's extension manager.
