OKX Launches Unified Tokenized Stocks With 24 Stock and ETF Pairs Powered by xStocks

OKX listed 24 tokenized stocks and ETFs, including XNVDA, XTSLA and XSPY, on July 16, 2026. They trade 24/7 against USDT and support xStocks withdrawals.

OKX announced on July 15, 2026 that it would list Unified Tokenized Stocks on its spot market. These assets give price exposure to US stocks and ETFs and trade around the clock against USDT.

How the product works

Each asset uses an "X" before the stock ticker, such as XNVDA or XTSLA. Where several providers issue a tokenized version of the same stock, OKX can merge them into one asset with a single order book and one set of corporate action rules.

The product runs on xStocks, the tokenized equity framework from Payward, Kraken's parent company. OKX supports xStocks deposits and withdrawals on Solana and X Layer.

Some practical details from the announcement:

  • Trading is open 24/7. Outside US market hours, prices are based on the last close plus a market estimate.
  • Grid and DCA bots work on all tokenized stock pairs.
  • Dividends are reinvested by the issuer and show up as a small increase in the user's balance, net of withholding tax. Trading does not pause for dividends.
  • The tokens do not give ownership of the company or voting rights.
  • The assets are not registered under the US Securities Act and cannot be sold to US persons.

Deposits opened at 08:00 UTC on July 15. Trading opened on July 16 in four batches:

    About xStocks

xStocks are tokens that track the price of listed shares and ETFs. They were created by Backed, a Swiss tokenization company that Kraken agreed to acquire in December 2025, and each token is backed by the underlying shares held with a custodian. The tokens exist on several blockchains, including Solana, and can be moved between supporting platforms and wallets.

OKX later expanded the lineup with more batches of tokenized stocks through August and September 2026, and added USDC pairs for some of them.
