Bybit announced higher tiered leverage for selected Gold, Forex, and 24/5 Stock CFDs starting September 21, including up to 1:2,000 for Gold and Forex and up to 1:100 for listed stock CFDs.

Bybit announced a leverage upgrade for selected TradFi CFD products starting September 21, 2026.

New Maximums

  • Gold CFDs: Up to 1:2,000 for XAUUSD, XAUJPY, XAUEUR, and XAUAUD
  • Forex CFDs: Up to 1:2,000 across the listed currency pairs
  • 24/5 Stock CFDs: Up to 1:100 for 20 listed instruments, including AAPL, COIN, GOOG, META, NVDA, TSLA, and TSM
  • Bybit says the new structure is tiered by exposure. The maximum applies only to smaller exposure tiers, while larger positions receive lower leverage. Existing positions may have margin recalculated when the new schedule takes effect.

The change can free margin but also increases the speed and size of potential losses. Users should review open positions and margin levels after the effective date and avoid treating the maximum leverage as a recommended level.
