Bybit to Discontinue Selected MXN Services and Convert Remaining Balances

Bybit announced changes to several Mexican Peso (MXN) services. The affected functionality will be suspended after the grace period ends on September 29, 2026 at 23:59 UTC-6, which is September 30 at 13:59 Hong Kong time.

The automatic conversion date begins one minute later, at September 30, 2026 at 00:00 UTC-6, or 14:00 Hong Kong time.

Services affected

Bybit will discontinue selected MXN functionality for One-Click Buy and Sell, Convert, account balances, and MXN-related Bybit Card activity. The exchange says the Bybit Card itself remains available under its applicable terms, and supported payment methods, Bybit Pay, and supported-currency P2P services are not covered by this change.

Eligible MXN amounts remaining after the grace period may be converted into USDT at a reference MXN/USDT rate plus the applicable conversion margin. Bybit states that the all-in conversion margin for later MXN credits is 0.9%. Amounts below the 0.01 USDT minimum conversion threshold will not produce a USDT credit.

P2P merchant deadline

MXN P2P merchants must settle or remove active MXN advertisements before November 1, 2026 at 23:59 UTC-6, which is November 2 at 13:59 Hong Kong time. Bybit says MXN P2P trading will resume after November 2, subject to a later update.

About the MXN update

MXN is a fiat currency used in Bybit's payment, conversion, card, and P2P flows. This notice changes the services through which eligible MXN amounts can be held or converted on Bybit; it is not a cryptocurrency token listing or delisting.

Users with MXN balances should use the grace period to review the available conversion options and the applicable exchange rate. Availability can differ by country, account, product, and payment method, so the live Bybit interface and updated terms should be checked before the deadline.
