Bitget Plans Temporary CFD Leverage Adjustments for Late September
Bitget announced temporary CFD leverage changes around key U.S. economic releases during the fourth week of September 2026.
Bitget will temporarily adjust leverage for selected CFD products around several U.S. economic data releases in the fourth week of September 2026.
Events Covered
The schedule includes U.S. employment data, preliminary September manufacturing and services PMI releases, EIA crude-oil inventory data, and initial jobless claims. The affected markets include some combination of FX, gold, silver, indices, and commodities depending on the event.
The special-period limits are applied from 15 minutes before the relevant release until five minutes after it. Bitget says the temporary leverage returns to its normal level after the adjustment window ends.
Trading Considerations
Opening, closing, or modifying a position during the special period can trigger a recalculation of required margin. Traders should review open positions, keep sufficient margin available, and remember that leverage can increase both potential returns and potential losses.
