How the Rebate Works
When a new eligible USDT-margined perpetual contract launches (Day 0), Binance Futures takes a snapshot of all active liquidity providers enrolled in the LP Program. Those providers automatically become eligible for maker fee rebates on that specific contract.
What Is the Liquidity Provider Program?
The Binance Futures LP Program is designed to attract professional market makers and high-volume traders who provide consistent liquidity (tight bid-ask spreads) to futures markets. In exchange, participants receive reduced or negative effective trading fees.
To join the program, traders must meet minimum volume and liquidity provision thresholds. Applications are reviewed by Binance on a rolling basis.
Why This Matters for Newly Listed Contracts
Newly listed contracts often suffer from wide spreads and shallow order books in their first weeks. By incentivizing liquidity providers with maker rebates, Binance ensures that new contracts have tighter spreads and better price discovery from day one — benefiting all traders, not just LPs.
Eligible Contracts
The rebate applies to all newly listed USDT-margined perpetual contracts that qualify under the LP Program, including new TradFi perpetuals and crypto-native perpetuals.
